eHarmony is more expensive, more hands-on, and reject the most applicants of any of the dating service, so if you’re not yet ready for a lifelong commitment, one of the other services would be more suitable for you.

Although we have listed eHarmony as a general dating service, it is however, geared specifically, for the marriage-minded. As such eHarmony delivers on it’s promises.

Eharmony/eHarmony rejects about 20% of its applicants. They don’t state it immediately on their site, but if you search deep enough you’ll find that eHarmony matchmaking is based on Christian principals.
Another search will find this statement:
“eHarmony does not offer same sex matching services. “Our ongoing research has examined thousands of married couples to determine what factors predict the greatest degree of success in the marriage relationship…This unprecedented research into compatibility has been conducted with the goal of lowering the rate of unsuccessful marriages and divorce by providing singles with a tool for finding truly compatible matches with whom to pursue a relationship. With this goal in mind, eHarmony’s research has only examined heterosexual relationships.”
More than likely, atheists are also rejected. So if you’re a Christian looking to find a husband/wife, eHarmony is the perfect dating service for you. We just wish that eHarmony was more open about their conservative bias.
